Wanda Barbara Shockley

Wanda Barbara Shockley was born in Henrietta OK. on February 20, 1938 to the union of her parents, Melvin Ambers Barnett and Alice Susie Freeny.

Wanda was retired from Tilly Lewis Cannery in Modesto after working 25 years as a can line operator. Wanda enjoyed taking care of her baby (puppy), crocheting, reading, surfing the Internet, camping and gold mining.

In 1957 Wanda first married the father of her children Ernest Donald Smith Sr. She later married Jim Shockley whom proceeded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her eldest son, Earnest Donald Smith Jr, her son Jackie Darrell Smith, two brothers Kendle Wayne Barnett and Roy Charles Barnett and one sister Lue Ellen Jackson.

Wanda passed away on September 17, 1922 at the age of 84. She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Ricky Wayne Smith and Christopher Allen Smith Sr. both of Modesto, her brother, John Christopher Barnett of  Modesto, CA and her sister, Anna Jeanette Deckard of Balico, CA, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 7great -great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends. Wanda will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
