Shiu Prasad

Shiu Prasad was born in Nagoro, RA Fiji Islands on February 23, 1932 to the union of his parents, Dukhi Prasad and Mohani Kumari.

He retired as a Janitor for Memorial Hospital in Modesto after working for 10 years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

Shiu passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 88. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rajkumari Prasad and his son Lashmi Prasad.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Lalesh Prasad of Modesto, and Bimlesh Kumar of Hayward. Brothers, Deo Prasad, Mahen Kumar and sister Uma Devi all of Fiji Islands. Seven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends. Shiu will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
