Shawn Jeanise Holland Washington, a loving brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on March 13, 2023, in Stockton, CA, at the age of 54. Born on August 5, 1968, in Lafayette, Louisiana, Shawn was a dedicated and compassionate individual who touched the lives of many throughout his time on earth.

Shawn was a talented and passionate mechanic, who loved repairing and rebuilding cars. From the young age of 15, he would meticulously work on cars for his family and friends, turning his passion into a career. His love for his craft was apparent to all who knew him, as he would spend most of his days completely absorbed in his latest project.

Shawn is survived by his loving family, including his brothers, Carlton Freeman Jr. of Bakersfield, Calvin Freeman of Houston, TX, and Eldaniel Holland Sr. of Stockton, CA. He also leaves behind his sisters, Bessie Porter and Ezolia Still, both of Bakersfield, CA, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Throughout his life, Shawn was known for his kind and generous nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a true friend to many, always offering his time and expertise to those who sought his assistance. He was a man known for his unwavering commitment to helping others and his passion for his work.

Shawn was a man of many talents, but his greatest gift was his ability to make others feel loved and appreciated. He will be remembered for his kindness, and his unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
