Shannon O'Neal Haley

Shannon O’Neal Haley was the second child born to Sally (Brown) Haley and Eric Haley in Lynwood, CA on April 23rd 1978.  He lived his early childhood in Long Beach, CA, Compton, CA and Las Vegas, Nevada.  Shannon accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and was baptized on Easter Sunday 1984.  He moved to Modesto, CA with his family in 1990.  Shannon graduated from Thomas Downey High School in 1995.  He also graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts. Most of Shannon’s adult life was spent between San Francisco, CA and Modesto.  He completed a culinary arts program while living in San Francisco.  Shannon enjoyed surfing, scuba diving, reading and cooking. He was an amazing cook and his family loved to sample whatever he came up with in the kitchen.  Shannon was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Mary (Reed) Haley.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Eric and Sally Haley, maternal grandparents Flora and Arthur Brown, Sr., paternal grandfather Jaffus Haley, Sr., sister and brother-in-law Tamika and Paul Gardley, Jr., brother Erin Haley,  nephews and nieces Cameron Evins, Ryan Evins, Zaire Gardley, Nila Gardley, Erica Gardley, Laila Gardley and Elijah Gardley as well as a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins,  extended family and friends.
