Rosa Gomez

February 7, 1963 ~ August 1, 2020 (age 57)

Rosa Gomez, 57, passed away August, 01, 2020, with her family by her side, after losing her battle against cancer. She was born to the Late Maria de la Luz Estrada and is survived by her father Ezequiel Estrada, On February, 07, 1963 in El Tigre, Michoacán, Mexico.
She married Martin Gomez in February, 02, 1985 and they lived together in El Tigre Michoacán for five years before relocating to Modesto, CA. Rosa Gomez is survived by her husband Martin, her three daughters Sandra (32) Sonia (29) and Erica (28), and her 9 Grandchildren Yosselin, Carlos, Julissa, Jonathan, Maya, David, Eleina, Evelynn, and Alexander, whom she loved very much.

Rosa was an amazing wife and an amazing mother. She would always put others' needs before her own. She always greeted people with a warm smile. Rosa ensured everyone felt welcomed and loved.

Over her years Rosa worked for Del Monte Food Inc. However, she would often baby sit for anyone in her family, from nephews and nieces to her own loving grandchildren. Her selflessness is something that will be missed and cherished forever.

Rosa taught her daughters that nothing in life is free and that hard work is needed to achieve their goals. She practiced what she preached and demonstrated that hard work was a virtue. At the same time, she was dependable and helped everyone in her family. Her family knew they could count on her for help when they needed it the most,  from a place to stay to a shoulder to cry on.
