Paris “TeTe” Ross-Luu Obituary

Paris “TeTe” Ross, known for her boisterous personality and loving nature, passed away on February 27th, 2022 due to heart failure. She was 50 years old.

Paris was born on April 14th, 1971 in Fremont, CA to the union of her parents Maria Ida Viesca and William “Butch” Ross Sr. She grew up in Milpitas, CA surrounded by a swarm of cousins and family members. A survivor of pediatric cancer, Paris didn’t let her illness get in the way of living life to the fullest. She enjoyed boating, fishing and staying active with her friends and family. A graduate of Cal Hills High School in Milpitas, CA, Paris was in the process of earning an Associate’s degree before her passing.

You could find Paris hollering at her kid’s basketball games, or whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen. She was extremely supportive, always showing her love through various acts of service. Paris was always involved in the community, she took pride in her role as a leader and nurturer. We will all miss her compassionate and giving soul. Paris was known for her various methods of “tough love”, always pushing those around her to become the very best versions of themselves. And although her practices were sometimes unorthodox, you were always grateful for it in the end.

She is survived by her dear mother and two siblings; older brother William “Dyno” Ross and younger sister Nina Ross. Paris was a mother to five children, Janelle, Olivia, Theo, Ty, and Avah Luu. She raised her family with her husband Dzung Luu in Riverbank, CA. She leaves behind her beloved nieces Kuana and Juana Ross as well as her nephew, Earl Ross. Although she was not a grandmother, she loved her babies Kaelani Brown and X’Zaiveon “Baby” Weathers dearly. Family was always a priority for Paris, who loved being surrounded by her many cousins and extended family.

Paris will meet her adored father in the afterlife, a long awaited, yet bittersweet reunion. We hope to come together to celebrate the life of a woman we all loved.
