Lynn William Blackman Sr. was born in Oakland Ca on December 25, 1954 to the parents Edith McClain and Grant Blackman Sr.
Lynn received his eternal wings on February 6, 2021 and was preceded in death by his sister Sylvia Jackson, (Grandsons) Grant William Blackman and Lynn William Blackman III .
Lynn confessed Christ at an early age. He attended schools in Oakland Ca., Lockwood Elementary, Havenscourt Middle, Castlemont High, Unitek Electronics
He served in the United States Marines from 1973-1976. He later met and married Mary Ann in Reno Nevada on March 26, 1983
Lynn leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Mary Blackman, mother, Edith McClain (Josh), father, Grant Blackman Sr. Children: Linda Peterson (Joe), Lynn Blackman Jr, James Ford, Myisha Ford (Shanika) Charity Brooks. Grandchildren: Makalla, Tashalla, Lamar, Des’ree, Nylique, Jamila, Arion, Aniya, Ayani, James III, Derrell, DaNaysia, Shaquilla, Andrew, Ikeem, Zamyah and Rashayaa. Great-Grandson King James. Two Sisters: Brenda Davis and Juanita Dorsey, Three Sister-in-Laws: Linda Bouldin (Herman), Bobbie Scott and Sue Walker. 5 Godchildren: Stephanie, Laneasha, Joseph Sr., Tyreace Walker and Sean Nevels. 5 Additional God-Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Lynn will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
