Leonard Eugene Cummings

Leonard “LC” Cummings Sr., 56, went home to be with the Lord on September
4, 2021.
Born in California, Leonard grew up with his siblings Carl Cummings, Antonio
Charles and Carol Ingram.
Leonard was a true family man and on September 30, 1988 he married his best
friend Patricia Richardson. Leonard and Patricia taught their children the
importance of sticking together and being there for one another. He molded
his children into the men and women that they are today. Words cannot
describe how much he loved his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family meant everything to him.
Leonard was always positive, he loved to explore and was fearless in so many
ways. Leonard loved sports and football; his favorite team was the Raiders. LC
was a true comedian and could fill any room with joy and laughter. He was
known as the “Candy Man” because anytime the kids wanted candy and their
parents said “no” he would sneak candy to them. He always made sure that
his children and grandchildren knew he loved them with all his heart.
Leonard is survived by his ex-wife Patricia Richardson. His children: Leonard
Cummings Jr., Terrell Cummings, Latisha Cummings, Robert Cummings,
Rashaud Cummings, Tanequa Cummings, Amir Karriem and Mary Cummings.
His mother-in-law Armie Richardson, his mother Marion Joyce Cummings and
his siblings Carl Cummings, Antonio Charles and Carol Ingram.
