Joyce Jean Medeiros was born in San Francisco, CA on June 25, 1951 to the union of her parents Roger Druhett and Lois Darby.

Joyce worked as an Administrative Assistant at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco for 13 years. She enjoyed traveling and watching movies. Joyce enjoyed many forms of music and she loved to dance. Her greatest joy however was spending time with her family.

Joyce passed away on March 21, 2021 in San Jose CA and was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Maurice Nicholson and her sister Yolanda Nash.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband, Jorge Medeiros, her children, Michael (Thea) Booker, Leon (Bridget) Booker and Danielle Stewart. Sisters, Toni Druhet-Phillips, Kathy Santiago, Marie Nicholson and Renita Nicholson, brothers, Royce Nicholson, Ronald Nicholson and Richard Nicholson. Grandchildren, Michael Booker Jr., Marissa Booker, Joy Booker, Mateo Booker, Maceo Booker, Leon Booker Breona Booker, Nia Booker, Neco Tidwell, Jonah Tidwell, Nahla Stewart and Fore Brown. Many special nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. Joyce will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
