Jonathan Arvell Nalls

Jonathan Arvell Nalls was born on November 2, 1987, to the union for his parents Jerry Darnell Nalls Sr and Kathleen Louise Crane
He grew up in the same house on Hillside St in Oakland for 17 years, attending Oakland City Schools until going to Golden Gate Academy where he played basketball winning various trophies for M.V.P. He later graduated the class of 2005.
He was a member of Market Street Seven Day Adventist Church of Oakland. In 2009 Jonathan was a victim of a violent crime which he could no longer walk. He quickly became independent again learning and adapting to life in a chair.
He was wise beyond his years and always despite of his situation had time for meaningful conversations with his many friends.
He had a wonderful sense of humor and no matter the occasion he would have you laughing.
He loved Jordans and had every new pair that came out. In 2007 he and Danielle Grace became parents Ta'Jon Arvell Nalls. He was a very proud father and spent most of his time with his son.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Darnell Nalls Sr, his sister Tichol Charisse Robinson, his grandparents John Allen Nalls Sr and St. Clair and Cordie Crane.
Jonathan leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother Kathleen Crane of Modesto, his son Ta'Jon Nalls of Oakland, Sisters Radisha Millbrook of Modesto, Jenita Nalls of Henderson, NV, brother Jerry Nalls Jr of Pittsburg, grandmother Lillie M. Nalls of Antioch and a host of other loving family and friends
Jonathan will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
