James Flemmons Thornton was born on April 30, 1956, in Mobile, Alabama to the union of his parents Parker Thornton Jr. and Mary I. Phillips.
He resided in Vacaville, California and served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
James passed away on June 8, 2017, at the age of 61 and was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to mourn his passing his brothers, Samuel Thornton, Henry Thornton, Allen L. Thornton, Freddie L. Thornton, all of Sacramento, CA, sister, MaryAnn Merritt of Reno, NV and a host of other family and friends.
He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
