James Meyers Obituary
James Roy Meyers was born on April 28, 1938, in Maud, Oklahoma to the union of his parents, Franklin O. Meyers and Effie Pendergraph.
He resided in Empire, California where he enjoyed fishing, gardening, was an excellent cook, worked as a Janitor in the hospital industry for 30 years and served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
James passed away on July 3, 2017, at the age of 79 and was preceded in death by his loving parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carol J. Azvedo, daughter, Cathy J. Dunnagan of Portland, Oregon, sons, James R. Meyers Jr. of Oakdale, CA, Lyson Meyers of Salida, CA, Christopher Meyers of Crane, TX, sister, Mary Lammanee of Modesto, CA, brother Jesse Brown also of Modesto, CA, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends.
James will always be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.
