Irma Miranda (Hernandez)
July 17, 1963 - September 15, 2025
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Irma Miranda, who entered eternal rest on September 15, 2025, in Modesto, California at the age of 62 following a lengthy battle with breast cancer.
Irma was born on July 17, 1963, in Michoacán, Mexico. She later made her home in San Jose and eventually in Modesto, California, where she built a life centered on family, faith, and love. Her home was her haven, filled with the beauty of her garden and the gentle care she gave her birds.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Irma's greatest joy was caring for those she loved. She was a pillar of selflessness and generosity-always giving more than she ever asked for in return. Her smile could brighten any room, and her gentle laugh was a comfort to those around her. Her warmth, wisdom, and compassion touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Irma was also a faithful member of her church, Lugar de Sanidad (Healing Place) in Hughson, California, where she was cherished as a true sister in faith. Her friendships ran deep, and her loyalty and kindness left an enduring mark on countless lives.
She is survived by her loving husband, George Miranda; her children, Willy, Ricky, and Karin; her stepdaughters, Maureen and Shirley Miranda; and her treasured grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
A memorial service to celebrate Irma's life will be held on Wednesday, September 24, at 11:00 AM, at Evins Funeral Home in Ceres, California, followed by a burial service at 1:00 PM at Ceres Cemetery.
Irma's life was a beautiful testament to the power of love, generosity, and faith. Though we mourn her passing, we are comforted knowing her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in peace, embraced in God's eternal love.
