Formerly hailing from Olo Olo, Sigatoka, Fiji Islands and most recently residing in Lathrop, California
We commemorate the life of Gyaneshwar (Dabbu) Naidu, the cherished youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Suryanarayan Naidu from Oloolo, Sigatoka.
His loving wife, Keshni Naidu, his devoted daughter Reshma Naidu and caring sons, Venkat (Vicky) Naidu and Surya (Babloo) Naidu, along with his daughter-in-law Archana Naidu, and three precious granddaughters: Priyanka, Ishita, and Shreya will hold onto his memory fondly.
Despairingly missed by brothers, Mali Naidu and Venkat (Gandhi) Naidu, sisters Aruna Raju and Uma Naidu, as well as sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends and relatives, Gyaneshwar (Dabbu) Naidu leaves behind a legacy.
Working as a diesel technician for two decades, Dabbu's work ethic was commendable. He was not just an employee but a mentor and friend to many of his colleagues. His interests were diverse and deeply rooted in his love for the earth and community. From gardening and farming to making pickles and working on cars and trucks, Dabbu's passions were as varied as they were enriching.
Renowned for his big heart, Gyaneshwar would consistently place the needs of others before his own. As a family man, he relished in spending time with his loved ones, welcoming visitors, and journeying to meet others.
His beloved nickname, Dabbu, was a gift from his doting grandfather, a token he would reciprocate by fondly bestowing nicknames on others in his life. Dabbu means money in Telugu.
