Derek John Vanderbeek was born on November 7, 1962 in California to the union of his parents Monty A. Vanderbeek and Joann L. Rocha.
He resided in Modesto, California where he enjoyed fixing cars, playing pool and darts, he also enjoyed snow skiing. He worked as a Laborer in the construction industry for 20 years.
Derek passed away on August 27, 2016 at the age of 53 and was preceded in death by his loving father and sister, Michaelle A. Vanderbeek.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother and a host of other loving family and friends.
Derek will truly be missed by all who loved him and who knew him.
