Bobby BJ Prunty Jr.

Bobby Prunty Jr, 40 years of age, passed on Friday, November 6, 2020 at his home in Modesto, Ca.

Bobby also known affectionately as BJ, was born March 12, 1980 in San Jose, Ca to Bobby Prunty Sr and Patricia Prunty.  He was the 14th child of 18 children, 4 preceded him in death.  BJ was educated in the Modesto City School System in Modesto, Ca.  He worked as a Lab Tech for Quantum Clean until his death.

BJ met Danielle Arwood in 1999 and 4 children ( a girl who is like him and gets on his nerves, twins who he says God gave him, and a son who was his heart) were born out of this relationship.  BJ professed a love for Jesus ( which he called Sweet Baby Jesus) at a young age.  He was committed to friendship and helping those who could not help themselves.  He was the voice of reason for so many people.  He loved unconditionally. You may not have liked him,  but he liked you. 

The Bible says in John 15:13:

 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

BJ was one who would lay down his life for a friend......ask Bodane.   He had a heart of FORGIVENESS that could only be compared to the heart of Christ.  His Father did ministry inside the church and BJ did ministry outside the church.  He truly wore his father's shoes.              

BJ kept his mother running through the neigborhood.  Everytime she dropped him off at school, before she returned home he would be at the front door with his sister Melissa.  He was known for always yelling "Who's The Master?"  and everyone would respond "Meatballs!!!".    He was always down for a good BBQ with friends and family.

BJ will be missed everyday by his Father, Bobbie Prunty Sr, his Mother, Patricia Prunty, Children, Reality Prunty, Shupri Prunty, Destiny Prunty, & Original Prunty, Longtime girlfriend, Nicole Dowdy , brothers, Roby Prunty (Monie), Anthony Woods, Micheal Prunty (Tasha), Lloyd Prunty (Michelle), Edwin Colby  (Valerie), & Dejon Shaw, Sisters Patty Smith, Caryl Prunty( also known as Boobs his 2nd mom), Nisha Smith (Gyasi), Michelle Bean, Neena Woods, Lashell Martin (Orlando), & Erykah Hall,  his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many, many, many, many great friends.

He also leaves to cherish his "Special" family "The Niggz".

We know BJ is now with his Aunt, Bobbie Smith and his Sister Melissa Prunty (mimi), his brothers, Kevin Prunty, Sonny Prunty & Joseph Prunty, and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.
