Antoinette (Toni) Strange

Antoinette “Toni” Strange danced into the gates of Heaven on January 10, 2022.
Toni was Born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on May 21, 1953, to John and Mary Vernacchio. She was a
devoted and cherished wife, mother, grand-mother and sister.
Toni was married for 49 years to her high-school sweetheart Steven Strange Sr. She was a mother to
Julie Scroggs of Buckeye, AZ, Stephanie Phillips of Buckeye, AZ and Steve Strange Jr. of Oakdale, CA . She
was a grandmother to Courtney & Seth Harlan, Zach & Arrie Horton and John & Reagan Strange. She
was also a bonus grandmother to Abby, Jacob, & Albanie Scroggs, her daughter Julie’s bonus children.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Vernacchio, Her brother Jerry Vernacchio, her
sister Philomena Plunket and numerous other beloved extended family members.
She lived for her family, all three of them! Her blood rela6ves, her church family, and her wrestling
family! If you asked her, she would tell you that her family was her greatest accomplishment.
She loved traveling, music and was quiet and humble about her many contribu6ons to her church. She
fed the hungry and was a friend to all who happened upon her path. She was quick to forgive and was
generous to a fault.
We will miss her every day, but we know she trusted in God’s plan and is res6ng peacefully in the arms
of Jesus.
