Jose Carranza Obituary
Jose Vasquez Carranza, 79, of Ceres, Calif., died on Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Alexander Cohen Hospice House, with his family.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 5, at 3:30 to 6 p.m., with a prayer at Evins Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m Thursday, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Hayward, Calif. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Jose, was born February 14, 1932 in Michoacan, Mexico. He lived in Union City, Calif., for 30 years. He retired and moved to Ceres, Calif., in 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Maria and their six children, Margarita, Linda, Jose, Jr., Sylvia, Robert and Angelica; along with 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child.
