Our cherished Daddy, Pa-Paw, and Far-away Papa left this world on July 30, 2019; His Savior took him home and although we are sad and hurting for ourselves, we are so grateful that he is free at last. He is in heaven rejoicing with Jesus and his loved ones who have gone before him. He is no longer in bondage, no longer in pain. He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon Jeffreys, his parents Jess and Anna Jeffreys, his siblings Irene Coates, Jessie Berglund, and Jacie West.
Daddy was a firefighter for many years for Cal-Fire and fought many forest fires and he loved and was proud of the work he did. Dad was also a believer and It was him that introduced us to God and that is a wonderful blessing that we will always treasure. Dad was the protector of his family and he loved each one of us with a unique and sweet tenderness. He spent the last 28 years of his life with Geneva Smith, a beautiful soul that loved and cared for him to the very end. Some of his most cherished memories are of his time with her. He is loved and remembered by his four children; Tracy Jeffreys of Oklahoma, Kevin Jeffreys of California, Jesse Jeffreys of California, and Robert Jeffreys of Idaho, his three granddaughters; Vanessa Auld of California, Tenaya Devore of Oregon, and Kaylee Matlock of Oregon and six great-grandchildren; Timmy Hoover, Alyssa Hoover, Jake Irizarry, Jimmy (LJ) Auld, Jr., Kaleb Devore and Shawn Devore, Geneva Smith and many nieces, nephews, and friends. You are so missed Daddy.
Heart of our Heart - until we meet again, we hold you in our heart.
This is what our Lord and Savior has done for our cherished patriarch -
Psalms 30:11-12 NKJV ~
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
You are free Daddy...You are free.
