Thelma Showen Obituary
Thelma "Marilyn" Showen, 79 of Ceres, Born June 20, 1937 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Hollie and Alva Davis.
Surrounded by her loving family at home died on April 18 2017 and was preceded in death by her parents and children; Susan Burgess, Mark Burgess, Earl (Burgie) Burgess Jr, and David Burgess.
Marilyn lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; helping others, spending time with family and friends, traveling and crafting. She retired as supervisor for local glass company after 22 years.
She is survived by her husband Truman Showen, son's Ernie Burgess, Jeff Burgess and his wife Cathy, Stan Showen and his wife Laura, Don Showen all of Ceres, and daughter Carolynn Warner and her husband John of Gilroy, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and her brother Glen Davis and his wife Grace of Modesto. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
