Dolores Frances Bracero-Bargas
September 27, 1948 - November 28, 2017
Dolores peacefully passed at her home in Modesto on Nov. 28, 2017. With her passing, she joins her parents, Richard and Beatrice Bargas, and siblings, Jesse A. Bargas, Isabel Bargas & her nephew Alex Durazo. She is survived by siblings, Richard Bargas Jr., Frank Bargas, Gilbert Bargas, Josie Madrid, Gloria D. Hicks, and Rosemary Bargas. Dolores was born in Hanford, CA on Sept. 27, 1948. She was raised in Hickman, Ca, and graduated from Hughson High School. Dolores worked as a caregiver, as her calling was to help and love others. A smile and a hug greeted all in her path. She will be missed dearly by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who knew her as "Tia Tortilla".
A Viewing will be held on Wed, Dec. 6 from 10am-12pm at Evins Funeral Home located at 1109 5th St. in Modesto. A Memorial Service will be held on Wed, Dec. 6 from 12:30pm-1:30pm at The First Baptist Church located at 116 E St. in Waterford. A lunch reception will follow from 2pm-4pm.
